Mary Lou Rainville, Dean

Bachelor of Arts
Bachelor of Education
Master of Education (Educational Administration)

“Prior to returning to University in 1986, as an adult learner, I worked in a variety of capacities which included book keeping, sales and counseling.
Then, I began my career in teaching/educational administration.  I was privileged to teach and be an administrator in Elementary and Secondary settings prior to coming to Canadore in August 2005 to assume my position as a Dean.”

Why does Mary Lou love being a Dean?

“My work as a Dean is a natural extension of the work that I did as a teacher and Principal.  I enjoy collaborating with Faculty, staff and fellow administrators to ensure that Canadore students are provided with the highest quality learning environment and experiences.  It is all about student success.
I, thoroughly, enjoy being a member of the Canadore family.”
